Be Incredible

One of the questions I often ask the team in a coaching session is ‘what’s holding you back from doing a lot more business?’
The answers usually include things like:
‘We need to reduce our prices – we’re not competitive enough’

‘The company needs to spend more on marketing’
‘They give us too much paperwork’
‘The CRM system is rubbish’
‘We need a bigger range of products’
‘My manager doesn’t give me enough support’
‘I don’t get enough training’
And on, and on and on…

Note: It’s rarely, if ever, THEIR FAULT!


No more excuses!

Whatever our role in business and in life, it’s essential to our success that we take full responsibility for our actions.

By passing the blame on to others, we forfeit the power to do anything about our situation.

By telling ourselves that it’s not  our fault, we’re saying that there’s nothing we could have done differently.

And that is almost never the case!

Playing the victim game will always hold us back from success.

Being responsible for our own problems, and not waiting for someone else to fix them is an incredible achievement.

Be incredible!
